「水壓式推鼻竇術 (HSC)」被公認為主流技術

一開始,陳博士只是想讓「鼻竇增高手術」不再疼痛。於是他發明了「水壓式推鼻竇 (Hydraulic Sinus Condensing, HSC)」,只需鑽一個小孔,將骨粉緩緩推入,就像做出一個小小的嵴頂窗。這樣的方法突破了傳統手術的限制,不管是骨頭太薄、鼻竇底傾斜、或有鼻竇中隔阻擋,就算鼻竇底剩不到 1 毫米的骨頭,也能順利推起鼻竇膜。
當時陳博士以為這個技術早就有人發明過,結果竟然完全沒有人做過。於是他默默蒐集臨床數據並把研究成果投稿,雖然一開始被多家期刊拒絕,直到2005年獲《Journal of Periodontology》(牙周病學期刊)正式刊登。同年,美國牙周病醫學會(AAP)也邀請他與 Ziv Masor、Toffler、Wallace 等國際權威同台演講,從此「水壓式推鼻竇術 (HSC)」被認定為鼻竇增高術的第三大主流方法。

At first, Dr. Chen simply wanted to make the sinus lift painless. He developed the Hydraulic Sinus Condensing (HSC) technique, which involves drilling a tiny hole and gently pushing bone particles upward, similar to creating a small crestal window. This method overcomes the limitations of thin bone, the incline of the sinus floor, or the presence of septa walls, allowing him to lift the sinus membrane even when less than 1 mm of sinus floor remains. At that time, he assumed someone must have thought of this technique before, but it turned out no one had. Quietly, he collected clinical data and submitted his findings. Many journals rejected his paper until, in 2005, the Journal of Periodontology accepted it. That same year, the American Academy of Periodontology invited him to lecture alongside pioneers such as Drs. Ziv Masor, Toffler, and Wallace. His Hydraulic Sinus Condensing technique was then recognized as the third major approach to sinus lift surgery.
