1996年，陳俊龍博士是第一位發現可以使用旋轉器械與水壓，經由牙槽頂(crestal approach)溫和地推升鼻竇膜。
直到今天，無論是超音波骨刀(piezo)或其他鼻竇專用的旋轉鑽針與車針，都是以這個概念為基礎而發展出來的。
在此之前，臨床上僅有「開窗術」或「錘擊骨鑿法(osteotome mallet cracking)」可供選擇。

2022年，有學者發表了回顧論文，依時間順序整理了鼻竇提升術的發展歷史。
歷經二十多年後，2014年陳博士取得專利，並將「自我提升式鼻竇手術(sinus self-lift）」推向新境界，首創全球第一款具備「自我推升鼻竇」功能的植體。
2020年，他也在《Compendium》期刊發表了相關文章。
這款名為SinusFuse的植體，由OsseoFuse植體公司生產，並且已有超過10年以上追蹤的臨床案例。

In 1996, Dr. Chen was the first clinician discovered to use a rotary instrument and water pressure to gently lift the sinus via the crestal approach.
To date, the piezo and other sinus rotary drills and burs have been introduced using the same concept.
Before his invention, only the window and osteotome (mallet cracking) techniques were available.

In 2022, some authors finally published a review paper that chronologically lists the history of sinus lifts.
Now, after more than 20 years, in 2014 Dr. Chen patented and took the sinus self-lift to the next level. He pioneered the world’s first self-lift sinus implant.
In 2020, he published an article about the sinus implant in Compendium.
This implant, called SinusFuse, is made by OsseoFuse Implant Company and has been used in cases with more than 10 years of follow-up.
