Dr. Chen is a periodontist and clinical dentist specializing in the treatment of gum disease and implant surgeries to replace missing teeth. Previously, Dr. Chen was faculty practice/dentist at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Career- related activities include: lecturer, Clark County of Southern Nevada Hygiene School; founder and lecturer, Beijing Medi- cal University Implant Centre, Beijing, China; director and board member, Chao- Tai College, Taichung Taiwan; and ADA accredited lecturer and consultant for Im- plant Innovations Inc., H & H Instrument Co., and Premier Laser System Co. Current memberships include: The Amer. Academy of Periodontology; Amer. Academy of Im- plant Dentistry; NV Dental Assn.; Amer. 
Dental Assn.; The Academy of Laser Den- tistry; and member and delegate, Clark County Dental Society. Dr. Chen attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, merit academic scholarship, B.S., Magna Cum Laude, 1985-88; Harvard School of Dental Medicine, full academic scholarship, D.M.D., Summa Cum Laude, 1988-93; and Northwestern University Dental School, Certificate, M.S., 1993-95. He was born on November 21 in Chang-Hwa City, Taiwan, son of Dr. Shan-Tau and Yu-Hwa Lee Chen. Married to wife, Dr. Jennifer Cha, they have three children, Nina, Audree, and Nick. Dr. Chen has been a resident of Southern Ne- vada since 1995.
